CSI Mississippi Product Show, Feb. 23

Join Tubelite representatives Tom Klutho and Kevin Haynes on Feb. 23 at the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Mississippi Chapter Product Show.

This in-person event will take place at the Hinds Community College’s Clyde Muse Center located at 515 Country Place Parkway, Pearl, MS 39208.

WCNY Glass & Glazing Expo, Oct. 20, Buffalo, NY

Jim Oberlin, Tubelite’s Eastern/Midwest Regional Sales Manager, will be presenting “Thermal Efficient Fenestration” at the WCNY Glass & Glazing Expo at 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 20.

This all-day event is hosted by the Finishing Trades Institute of W&CNY, an AIA Buffalo/WNY Allied Member. Registration is free at

Those attending Tubelite’s presentation will learn more about selecting energy-efficient aluminum framing systems, including storefront, curtainwall, and entrance doors for commercial applications. Participants will have the opportunity to earn 1.0 LU AIA/HSW.

Tubelite’s continuing education program will examine energy codes, thermal design criteria, definitions, condensation, testing and certification processes enhancing the design professional’s ability to make appropriate thermal framing selections for their project. Common materials used in commercial construction will be reviewed with a detailed look at the benefits of using recycled aluminum, thermal properties and energy saving techniques.

CSI Milwaukee, Sept. 13, Wisconsin

On Sept. 13, the Milwaukee chapter of Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) hosts an in-person presentation on storefront and curtainwall by Tubelite’s representative, Rick Hillesheim, CSI, BME, NFRC ACE. He will discuss how to avoid common failures and review success stories.

Rick is the president of Hillesheim Architectural Products and its sales engineer. He draws from more than 35 years of experience representing fenestration  manufacturers including Tubelite Inc. He is a registered NFRC ACE and a guest trainer for the Milwaukee-area Glaziers Union, Painters & Allied Trades–District Council No. 7 apprentice training program for eastern Wisconsin.

The CSI Milwaukee’s evening event is held at DoubleTree by Hilton, 611 W. Wisconsin Ave. Cocktails and socializing starts at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and chapter announcements. The one-hour educational presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Architectural Design Solutions, AIA/CES webinar, Aug. 26

As part of the Architectural Design Solutions Webinar Series hosted by Apogee Enterprises, Tubelite’s Kevin Haynes will present “In’s and Out’s of Aluminum Doors and Frames for Storefront and Curtainwall” on Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. CDT.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the advantages of architectural aluminum doors and frames, industry standard sizing, and standard hardware options. The course also provides an overview of architectural finish options for aluminum doors and frames.

Tubelite celebrates 75 years of business

ABX, Nov. 6-7, Boston

The largest building industry event in the Northeast, ABX has welcomed more than 7,000 architects, engineers, builders and other industry professionals to its conference.

ALA Midwest Architecture Conference, Oct. 29, Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Tubelite returns to the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA) Midwest Architecture Conference. This year’s event will be held Oct. 29 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, just outside of Chicago.

Representatives from Tubelite will be in booth #504 in the expo hall. The floor is open from 10 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

Attendees can earn 1.0 continuing education learning units (LUs) for their time with conference exhibitors. A total of up to 6.0 LUs are available for those attending the conference keynote and educational sessions.

AIA Winston-Salem, Lunch & Learn, Oct. 22

As part of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Winston-Salem’s Lunch & Learn series, Tubelite presents “Storefront or Curtainwall: Seeing through the Difference,” Oct. 22, 12-1 p.m., at Footnote Coffee & Cocktails, 634 West 4th St., Suite 120, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

Those who participate in this one-hour, in-person educational presentation can earn 1.0 Learning Unit (LU). The course includes a basic review of storefront and curtain wall glazing systems. The program will examine industry standards and performance attributes for commercial glazing systems, enabling the design professional to select the appropriate product for their next product. Course participants will have a basic understanding of storefront and curtain wall, seeing through the difference and determining the proper product application based on system performance attributes and installation in terms of environmental quality, human health and safety.

AIA Wisconsin, May 8-9, Madison

Hosted by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Grand Rapids chapter, WMD+C is considered West Michigan’s largest commercial construction trade show highlighting the latest in technology, innovations, educational seminars, networking and new business opportunities.
The event takes place at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Michigan. Food and refreshments will be available.

AIA Montana/BAA, April 11-13, Billings, MT

The Billings Architectural Association (BAA), a section of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Montana Chapter, hosts its annual Meeting in the Mountains, April 11-13, at the Northern Hotel.

Tubelite’s regional sales manager Terry Robinholt will be exhibiting on April 12, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., in booth #25.

Keynote speakers, social networking and the Celebrate Architecture Competition Awards banquet also are scheduled on April 12. CEU presentations are offered on April 11 and 13.

Rocky Mountain Green, April 10-12, Denver

Hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Colorado chapter, this 12th annual conference will be held April 10-12 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in downtown Denver. In addition to the tabletop exhibits on Thursday, the three-day event offers educational sessions, speakers, workshops and tours. Participants in the conference’s activities may be eligible for LEED/GBCI and AIA continuing education credits.
